Wednesday Chat (1st Oct)
« on: October 01, 2008, 06:21:51 AM »

Good morning everyone,

Under 4 hours sleep again last night...yawn....wish I could have the luxury of 7 hours...mmm that would be nice I think.

1st of October, where did September go?  Hope you all have a good day whatever you've got planned...I'm trying to catch up on things I should be doing but my mind is elsewhere and I know I won't feel up to it....more clearing on the way as well.  Will have to look at the freecycle site Anne mentioned....thanks for that.

Chrissie

OMG - October already!
Well that was a brief summer this year.. a couple of days and thats the lot.

Winter is now on its way... theres high winds here today.  I took Kimi back late last night and my poor lil car was rocking in gusts of winds as I drove down the prom.  :(

Hi all, what a start to October, wild and windy here.We have a lot of big trees just up our road  and the leaves are blowing down here with great gusto, luckily not many get blown into our garden because we are raised up from the pavement level, across the street is another matter. :D
Not seen TD around for a few days, hope he's ok.
@ Chrissie, yes Freecycle is a good way of getting someone to collect all your unwanted stuff.
Off to my sisters later for a couple of hours, least it better than watching some of the rubbish on TV.
Enjoy the rest of your day  :)

I noticed TD has been missing.

On the university campus where I work there is a lake and they have just put a board up with all the species of waterfowl, apparently there are some Tufted Ducks, the Greylag and Pinkfooted geese can be a bit of a nuisance when they decide to go walk about, not being particular where they sit down for a rest, middle of the road, car park, anywhere they like really and of course they always leave their 'calling card', even if you don't see them you know where they've been.
