Modem upgrade from Billion 8800NL

(1/1)

Jakg:
Years ago I had a rubbish connection and an Billion 8800NL was suggested as being able to get the best speed via SNR out of my line, which it did and I was happy.

It's 8 years old now and has a habit of rebooting every now and again and I wonder if upgrading to something newer might give better performance?

I've got an 80/20mbit VSDL connection.

I don't care about WiFi as I have access points setup already in all the right places.
I don't need many fancy features beyond basic DHCP configuration, port forwarding and DYDNS registration.

I was kind of hoping I could spend another £60 and get something better, but I'm not seeing anything? Any recommendations?
