Given my name it was required. Been on it a little while.

Will give a full review of the kit and product at some point.

How comes you ended up piloting it? Good relations?

Yes indeed. Good relations, network engineer so tolerant of issues and can even help a bit. Have done extensive testing with these folks, basically experiencing issues so other folks don't, some late nights and lots of tuning from both of us to ensure the quality of the product. 😊

I am on a PON with a number of other customers, take up is really good, so a good metric for how it would perform in the future as the product sells more and more and 8000 customers are sharing with more ONUs.

My home network is meaty. I can use their router as a main router and compare wired performance to my ridiculously overpowered router with a few clicks to change things over and put it in AP mode.

I have plenty of WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E devices to test the wireless performance out.

I have a backup so during the more interesting testing I can keep a single machine on YF for testing and the rest over the backup.

My usage is realistic. 3 of us here, 2 of whom work from home, the other on constant video calls with her mates. I download big games sometimes, I stream pretty much everything, my devices make extensive use of automated cloud backup. I do not seed torrents all day and night or try and mirror Usenet or download tons of stuff I'm never going to use because it's there.

Lastly due to the specifics of my job I can monitor the connection in excruciating detail through automated telemetry. I take it all the time so it's available and is far higher definition than a BQM.

It's an actual product now, not just a trial from what I understand.

I'm going to be watching my own usage very closely as part of a presentation.
