Try this logic puzzle...

You have two ropes that each take an hour to burn, but burn at inconsistent rates. How can you measure 45 minutes? (You can light one or both ropes at one or both ends at the same time.)

Rope 1 both ends
Rope 2 at one end

30 mins later
Rope 1 is fully burnt
Rope 2 is half burnt with 30 min remaining.
Now light the other end of rope 2.

15 mins later (45 total mins)
Rope 2 is fully burnt.

OK, I've got a small logic puzzle:

A blind man is alone on a desert island. He has two red pills and two blue pills. He must take exactly one red pill and one blue pill or he will die.

How does he do it?

He halves all 4 pills and takes half of each one (purely a guess).

This is an old one. There are two doorways, one leads to certain death, the other means you are allowed to live.  Two guards are guarding the doors - one of them always tells the truth, the other one always tells lies.

You are allowed to ask one question to determine which will lead you to safety - what is the one question you could ask either guard and know for certain which door to choose?.
