Ogi?
« on: April 18, 2023, 01:43:10 PM »

Think I've spotted some full fibre infrastructure goodness in my local area from "Ogi"?

I presume this is one of their cabinets, why does it look like a gnomes home? It's looked like this since it was installed circa 8 weeks ago.

Can confirm, that is Ogi.

Our active cabinet fits over the top of the gnomes home.

What town is this?

It's about time gnomes were considered more.

Thanks for confirming!

Do the gnomes apply for planning permission first? 😅

Are the smaller green cabinets (look similar to FTTac cabinets) also yours?

To be fair the yellow bit is just a cover. It'll get removed when the actual cab goes on top.

The smaller green cabinets are ours too - yes. They are fed by the main active cabinet.

Righ-o. That's the one I need to keep an eye on for movement then  ;)

It's sunny Porth 😇 I recognise the cabinet, Rheola pub and bridge.

Porth should be live within the next month or two. Or at least the gnomes home will be filled in with the rest of the actual cabinet shortly :)

I notice on the telegraph poles close to me some green micro sub ducting coming up.

Do companies have particular colours they use? I presume the green is the ongoing Ogi roll out.

Still no sign of the gnomes upper stories!
