How often do you test your connection?

I voted when there is a problem.

But then I realised I do a speed test from my work PC daily as well as using it, because I need the upload speed to be good.

I have found FTTC reliable for me on VDSL, but I am within sight of the green cabinet too.

FTTP should be reliable if properly installed and maintained, but FTTC can be too in my experience with VDSL.
      - FTTP being marketed on pure speed.

I voted "daily", but that was a lie, as I test several times a day when I’m monitoring things to see if I need to adjust settings, so hourly would be nearer the truth, but there was no option for "every n > 1 hours". I’m trying to see what target SNRM levels, down and up, I can get away with at the zero CRC errors level.

I do have a longstanding SHINE issue though and things went a bit mental a few weeks ago. Howver at the time I wasn't feeling too great and didnt have the energy to take on Openreach for them to come out and say the line is fine.    Which it normally is 99.9% of the time if I ignore the daily blip.

Why it went mad Ive no idea, but touch wood all is stable again.  Err  Secs were 0 for a few weeks.... until today. :/
It was a PITA when it went down as I stream a lot and rely on Alexa far more than I realised.
