Those options are not from the HG612. (I repeat: There is no such option.)

What exactly are you using? Having reviewed this entire topic, there clearly is something that you have not told us.  :-\

Enable: "Start Debug Log Capture when boot up" ?

Yes please, then try connecting to hive locally.
You should see some debug logging

No - page just seems to keep refreshing.

Okay. Find the browser cookies for my.hivehome.com and delete them.

I take it that the same device and same browser can connect to any other url (when attached to your network)?

I don't think IPv6 is turned on on the HG612 however so did wonder if that was the issue? Not sure how to test this?

The HG612 should only be used in bridge mode.
In this mode the only thing it handles is the connection between the modem and the cabinet.
It doesn't handle anything related to IPV4/V6 or anything routing related.

Make sure you have the HG612 set to "bridge" and not the routing setting.
Resetting it to factory defaults gives the config you want.

Basically no settings ever need changed on the HG612. Disabling QoS is the only thing that should ever be touched and even that isn't necessary.

In the right mode of operation the HG612 can't be the issue.

OK I've run that for a couple of mins whilst trying to access hive... I've downloading the debug_log... what now?

IP address for the hive hub, port in and out over NAT, public IP address for hive

IP address for the hive hub, port in and out over NAT, public IP address for hive

So the IP of the hub appears in:
a section starting 'dhcp_resrv_ip=' along with what are other reserved IP addresses,
again in a section 'inbound_policy_tbl=',
again in section 'pf_services_tbl='
and again in section 'arp'

On my Orbi RBR40, all the settings are factory defaults save for PPPoe log in and so on. No rules set in the advanced set up tab options. Hive works perfectly well.
I don't recall - have you set the R850 back to factory settings?

You can run a debug log on Orbi kit using the url provided. Nothing to do with the HG612 of course.

Sorry for the delay... busy work wise. I'll get the Orbi set back to factory and update you... obviously it was factory set (and displaying the issue) before I started trying to fix it.

What modem are you running?

Hi... so... I've factory reset the Orbi... whilst I was doing so I fired up the old R8000 router and connected that to my modem to give it a whirl now that had also been reset, logged in updated the Internet connection details, connected the Hive Hub to it... connected by WiFi to the R8000 and Hive worked fine 🤦‍♂️

Removed the R8000, set the Orbi back up, entered the Internet connection settings, connected to the Orbi WiFi and Hive won't work... errors on the app.

So what's going on!? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
