Is there a website that allows checking the availability and speeds of Virgin Media broadband without requiring an address or phone number? I want to explore my options, but the Virgin Media site insists on having my phone number and address. I'm hesitant to provide this information because a previous experience with the EE site resulted in unwanted sales calls. I attempted using websites like https://www.checkpostcode.uk but they only provide the highest overall speed, not specific to Virgin Media. I vaguely recall a tool named Sam Knows from years ago; I'm uncertain if it's still operational today?

BIDB doesn't show speeds, only who covers the post code.  Okay technically it says what speed it thinks they offer in that area, but I wouldn't be certain on its accuracy.

Unfortunately only Virgin Media themselves with your address details can give an accurate answer.

Think Broadband seem to have adjusted to "average" speed too, which means it shows 137Mbit for my post code, when Gigabit is available from Openreach and Virgin.

It being listed as available on a generic database does not guarantee its available to a given customer, that database AFAIK covers entire post codes.  Yes as a rough guide that's useful, but my point is its not going to tell you exactly what they are offering or how much it would be.

Thanks, it looks like bidb is fairly accurate based on my tests, I will save this for the future.
