There seems to be a chance they run (some?) their links hot, poor single threaded performance is one symptom, regularly rebalancing users is another (disconnects during maintenance windows), also an interesting thread on ISP review about it. We will probably never know.
Well after the issues with their Own GEA migration from BTW they migrated me back onto BTW, until last year when i was migrated to tt wholesale and latency is the same as BTW and no single thread issues, iicr there has been only a few instances of latency issues at peak times, and 1 time single thread through put due to GATEWAY or PPEOE session, as after i dropped the PPPoE session onto another gateway the throughput issue was resolved as was the 1ms increase in base min latency, maybe something tt's side
