TTB Huawei Firmware Upgrade?

What does this mean?

INITIAL   Exchange Delivery - R11 Upgrade - WNWEL; SLRF :: CRQ000000108459 START PUBLIC NOTES The exchange switch is the main interface of our customers and our network at the exchange level. This RFC is to upgrade the firmware of main exchange metro switch pair NE40-M2F to the newer firmware version which is recommended by the vendor Huawei.   2022-03-04T00:05:00   2022-02-11T14:25:00   2022-03-04T06:00:00

TTB are upgrading these - https://carrier.huawei.com/en/products/fixed-network/carrier-ip/router/ne40e - in Wellington.

These carry your service, along with many others, to their core network. They are the big in between Openreach and TTB's UK-wide core network, serving the Telford area.

Does this mean my G.fast could be downtime or was it only for FTTC and FTTP?

Yes, I would expect your service to be affected but it doesn't necessarily mean "down time". So please don't worry about it.

Everything, including leased lines that aren't protected, is at risk.

Your G.fast is exactly the same as FTTC from the pod to your ISP and once it gets to Wellington will share equipment with FTTC/P: both Openreach and TTB equipment.
