Jaggies:
Hi.

My current PC does not have the required TPM hardware to run Windows 11 so I decided to upgrade and ordered a custom built PC from Computer Planet a month ago. My current PC was bought from them a few years ago, and has been a reliable work horse ever since.

Their web site has disappeared and searching for the company online I found a number of people posting Trust Pilot reviews saying that they had not had orders fulfilled and that the company has ceased trading.

I've raised a claim via my bank for a full refund on my credit card, but just wanted to check if anyone else had experience of this particular issue, and give a heads-up to anyone thinking of purchasing something from them - although as their web site is no longer accessible it shouldn't be possible to order anything.

The fact that the have an 'Active proposal to strike off' with Companies House - https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/06144113  - and have not filed any accounts since those of 2018 does not bode well.
I think you're doing the right thing by requesting a refund via your credit card.

It just goes to show that past performance is no guarantee of future performance.

I'll have to look elsewhere for another PC - does anyone have any recommendations?
