Well I never, some day lillies that I have had for about seven years have never flowered, this year I vowed to dig them up, guess what, yes they flowered, well its one stalk, but its a start.
I have another couple of clumps that despite my total neglect off them, sitting in clayey soil prone to standing in water in winter do very well, tough as old boots they are but look very exotic.
Turned very humid, so nothing is drying after yesterdays rain, have retreated indoors with wet feet.
