Walkers on the mountain

Janet’s B&B guests saw some walkers on the skyline to the west, right on the very top of Beinn nan Càrn. Some of my neighbours talked about it to Janet and said they had decided to track the walkers with binoculars. It turns out they were a stag and eight hinds.

Depending upon the distance involved, the visual inexactitude might be excusable!

It’s probably about a mile, very roughly.

My wife and I were walking (6 mile
) in the Derbyshire 'Peak District' yesterday and I said to her look at some one at the top of that hill, she looking through her binoculars said it's a tree

As you know, I was born in Derby, and my mum’s folks all came from Lea near Matlock. Where abouts were you walking, for old time’s sake?

Apparently it has been madness here in Skye, the throngs of tourists were crazy. We on the other hand are so out of the way, we never ever see anyone here in Heasta.
