Understanding stats from ZyXEL modem
« on: August 06, 2021, 08:05:10 PM »

My ZyXEL VMG 1312-B10A modem reports the following stats and I don’t understand them, so could do with some advice. The following is, I believe, pertaining to the PhyR L2 ReTX protocol (like G.INP) for ADSL2:

              Down     Up
ReXmt:         741      0
ReXmtCorr:     741      0
ReXmtUnCorr:    56      0

For the downstream, why does ReXmt (the first entry) not equal the sum of the other two? I don’t know the exact definitions of the counters, and that doesn’t help.
