This morning my line re-synced at a very low rate, I was previously syncing in the 60s.

I've had a connection time of over 10 days so I am surprised this has happened - and a restart of the modem has made no difference.

It doesn't look banded.

Can you run the xdslctl info --vectoring command and post the output?

It's often Vectoring related, on the very slim chance you have Vectoring enabled.

Which firmware should I use please?

I have a Zyxel VMG1312-B10A, running V1.00(AAJZ.16)C0 firmware.

There is an updated firmware on Zyxel website it is V1.00(AAJZ.17)C0 which is released on Jan,2 2019
