Can you post your current line stats so I can give you detailed information.

Also what city/town do you live in.

** The main site has details of how to get them if you don't know  :)

You would only be looking at about the 8000 mark so I would only go with the 8Mb package but you most likely would see a performance increase yes.

The thing with Be* is that you get unlimited usage(I still don't think anyone has been hit by there FUP and I have used well over 400G in one month). So if you download a lot I would not even hesitate. There are of course negatives as there are with all ISP's. I think rizla had some trouble with them IIRC so he will probably tell you some of the downsides that he experienced.

You also probably will not get the same level of support you do with smaller resellers.

lol well i never reached 40Gig on Sky Connect, i think i had even less with NTL orginally and i never reached that...i maybe download/upload a small programs/files, ranging between 2-20mb.

I mainly game, and suprisingly it doesn't take up that much.

Support i don't mind aslong as the connection runs smooth. I'm pretty good with computers, i usually find my own way.

Is upload speed good for gaming? would it improve my gaming going from 448k to 1mb?? i know games don't use that much, but maybe i would see an improvement here, no?

Wouldn't think that would make any difference, really, unless you're hosting your own game of course, or serving a map / mod or something from your PC (I don't play games online, so I wouldn't know what traffic usage is really like).

On the other hand, having more bandwidth is never going to harm the game's playability ;)

If you know anyone else on your exchange with Be or O2 (same network) who also play games, might be worth asking them too about general performance.

Sadly i don't know anyone that has the same exchange and is with Be.

One last question, can i request interleaving to be turned off with Be? and/or will it be already turned off when i goto them (I'm already on FastPath with Aquiss)

You can usually get a ADSL2+ connection to go about 2mbps faster with a few tweaks and wire sorting.

I won't be able to post a reply for a day or 2 because I am banning myself from the internet for 24 hours because its my 18th now(yep its after 12). Right I am off to Blackpool to get very drunk as the clubs are still open.

Thanks Chris.  ;D

I bought me an all my friends a bottle of Zambooka towards the end of the night and I think that polished us off.

Not sure if its the same with the v7, but direct link should be:-

http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/dsl/dt/?ce=1&be=0&l0=1&l1=0

If you have any FEC errors showing, then your line is interleaved.
