However, I appear to have run into a problem.
Despite me changing the maxDataRate back to 80000 20000 etc, my throughput via Sky is still only 50Mb. What have I done? :)
Running speedtests over individual lines yields: -
66.67MB over AAISP
45.00MB over Sky
Very strange!
This feels like a very similar problem to when I upgraded my father's Sky from Fibre to Fibre Max. Even though the downstream had gone up, something within Sky's network hadn't caught up and it was somehow rate limiting to the previous sync speed. I've tried the --maxDataRate switch twice now, so I am not going to touch the modem again, but something feels like it has changed within Sky of late. Whatever it is, despite the best sync I have seen in some months, I am down 20+Mb in real world throughput.

Shutdown the Sky interface on router, now that's back to 68.8Mb.
We're getting there.
