I installed ST on my newer machine when the old one packed up. No problems with it , I just don't like the Crawler toolbar so, although it is set and working I have it Hidden.
I have it set for a Fast Scan daily at 1300 hours and just noticed a nice little pop up that showed 'Countdown to Scan' and counted down from 10 seconds, which is a nice warning in case you think something is wrong. It takes 59 seconds for a fast scan and so I just let it run and have a breather whilst it is scanning.

Same here but mine keeps coming back, it does not seem to like staying hidden.
I'm not sure whether it comes back after a reboot.
edit (Yes, it did just come back after a re-boot)

Problem is if you delete the Crawler toolbar then you/we may lose the added function of the on-line Security Guard feature.
So I'll just put up with it and keep hiding it.

I like the thought of AVG 8 free having both AV and AS and the antispyware coming from the Ewido history. I supose time will tell how good the combined poduct is.
