6.0.3 appears to be solid and stable, but I had a slight hiatus getting there.
1. I had problems keeping 5.9 from (almost random) crashing on a Windows 7 x64 machine - so much so that I assumed that the O/S installation was past its prime and I was going to have to get round to rebuilding it but hadn't yet done so. 6.0.3 on that same machine appears stable after 48 hours, so whatever changes have been made between 5.9 and 6.0.3 are on the money. Well done.
2. I was running 5.9, successfully, on an alternative Windows 7 32 bit machine - fine and dandy. Noticed that the program advised of the availability of a new release, pressed download which delivered 6.0 which was duly installed but had a few problems. It was only after I checked here and the DSLstats site that it became apparent that I had obtained a deprecated version! Manually downloaded 6.0.3 and all's well.
Bearing in mind that I don't watch this board obsessively, may I suggest that you need to ensure that pressing the "download" button doesn't pull down a version that is no longer considered current.
Just to summarize - I pressed the download button which delivered 6.0 three weeks after 6.0.2 had been posted, which caused a minor hoo-ha before I realised that the button had not delivered the current (stable) version. Thanks.
