I don't know about the ADSL Nation (now Tandy) faceplate with VDSL2, it may not be VDSL-compatible. I currently don't use any filters of any kind because I don't use POTS, and so I just use straight-through, non-filtering faceplates on the front of my NTE5As.
I used to use the BT Pressac NTE-2005 filters with ADSL, see below
https://www.run-it-direct.co.uk/BTNTE5ADSLfaceplate6way.htmlWith ADSL, I found that both the Tandy and the Pressac NTE-2005 faceplates were good, and with my ultra-long line I found that the Pressac had a very slight edge in performance. With a shorter line and stronger signal, I would expect both to perform well on ADSL. The Tandy with its more complex electronics (if memory serves) might be good with difficult phones or lots of phones connected.
If memory serves, some people have claimed that the BT Mk3 SSFP (faceplate filter) syncs slower than the original BT Pressac NTE 2005, but the Mk3 perhaps helps if you have a noisy line. Others will be able to comment. I doubt you can go too far wrong with a Mk3 SSFP, there’s just a possible slight design trade off between reliability and high sync speed.
Can anyone else comment on the Mk3 with VDSL2 vs the alternative SSFP choices?
