I've just started experimenting with the Tor browser.
So far its been interesting on how it works. I've not tried anything from the 'dark web'. I'm not sure I want to venture down that path from what I've read about it.
I was just wondering if anyone as any experience with Tor?
I notice each time I connect I get a different ip address. Is it possible to get an ip address from a certain country, like the US?
The reason I ask is because my gf is from the US and is currently there now and sometimes she sends me video links, either from youtube or news sites (most recently CNN), and I when I'm using my regular connection I usually get 'Sorry this video is not for your region' message, which is most annoying. She was showing me the recent dallas shootings funeral and posted me a link to the US version of CNN for the live feed, yet it wouldnt let me watch it. Who knows why!?
So is it possible to restrict the randomness that Tor gives out IP's to certain countries, or is the randomness just part of Tor itself?
