What would concern me more is the fact that if the cat can get in then I'm sure the Lynx can get out !, (You would be surprised what gets out in the confines of zoo's but the public do not get to hear about).
My daughter being a 'Senior Primate Keeper' see's all sorts sharing the animals food from birds, mice, rats, rabbits, badgers, herons, seagulls, fox etc. (some are in 'open' top enclosures).
It's the keepers that get more upset than the animals who share there food.
She gets feed up by the numbers of the public asking her to go into the cages to rescue say a rabbit that being chased by a Chimpanzee, she has to point out that the chimps are wild animals and would probably kill her let alone the rabbits (some rabbits do get eaten by the chimps).
