Are those two Huawei's BDUK funded cabs... In Birmingham the rollout is all ECI but any done by BDUK scemes are Huawei

Yep, same here. Headend here has 62 ECI cabs and 5 Huawei ones. I think they are all connected to a bit of ECI kit in the headend. Can see something righr next to it that says Huawei, but I don't know what it is if I'm honest.

Just thought I would update this as its getting to be a comedy :D :D

So about a week ago I got a call telling me work had been done which was the fitting of "new cards" supposedly... er ok, so why did my line not go down then?? - more calls and provided evidence that my modem had been up for 46 days with no loss of service..
Anyway another call today telling me "hmm yes sorry about that we haven't done anything to the cab yet but we are now on the 3rd July..- not sure what yet but we will see if something really happens.....
on it goes... supposedly OR are going to look into the g.inp issue on this cab as well as it was working just fine before it went down on the 8th april. Supposedly I will get another update on the 4th July... :D  :D :D

(OR still think the cabinet has some sort of fault following the monitoring)

Wait, you've had an RDI but there's not been a resync?

RDI's got to be a resync and your DSL uptime has reset. It still says you're on ECI on MDWS.

Supposedly work was scheduled for the 3rd July. Maybe they have done the card early. Who knows. Will try and find out..

okay as of the 1/7/16 no work has been done, still scheduled for 3/7/16 - I think the resync was due to the 21 SES I had at the same time as the resync.. roll on sunday..

21 SES?! Ouch.

I can't understand why they would conduct that type of work on a Sunday though?

What are all the LOS' for?

Also, I was going to ask, what do you think will happen on Sunday? G.INP and rise in sync speed?

I think if its going to be a card swap maybe sunday is a better day?-dunno really its just what I was told.. I very much doubt g.inp will be back. I just hope the card swap if thats what ends up happening will reduce the errors. I am ok with the speed if it ends up being the same. I spose I could be back on an open profile with interleaving for a few days then pray for fastpath due to being disconnected. I am trying to ingore current stats as if the card is faulty then my stats may not be accurate anyway....

Historical los are probably me when I was trying various  modems to see what worked best- there'a been a few lol..plus the pair swap plus various engineer visits in the past.....

Will keep you updated if things progress...

You were lucky, getting fibre before most and to say nearby cabinets don't even have fibre!
