Hi PEdmunds,

Thanks for your request and providing detailed line stats.

You have a very stable what looks like BT Infinity 1 or speed equivalent connection with low errors. I would say that you have nothing to worry about as the line looks in great condition.

Hi PEdmunds,

What product are you on?
It looks like 40/10, yet something you said in another thread makes me think you are paying for either 55/10 or 80/20.

Hi,

Yes I'm supposedly on the 55/10 profile, but apparently banded at 39999.

Yes there's definitely some sort of rate limiting going on there because the SNRm is at 10.3dB

Unfortunately its impossible to tell if it is limitation of the product or if its DLM banded, when the figure is at 39999.

This is interesting in bearer 0

D:      16      1

yet you also have g.inp, so DLM has obviously had an active interest in your line at some point.

Do you have any SNRm graphs anywhere?

@PEdmunds

You have exactly the same attenuation of 22.8 dB as me but you're getting full upload speed of 9.5mbps. I can barely get 7mbps. That's really strange.

That will depend entirely on line conditions, crosstalk and other factors.

Hi,

What does the bearer 0 stat suggest?

No SNRm graphs but if I can get my head around the monitoring utility I can attempt to draw some up.

Just a thought if your line won't support above 55meg on the downstream does the re--provision process leave you as you were I had a potential max rate of 64meg and when I was put onto the 55/10 product at around 3am on Monday the 18th I was put on an open profile 9999/54998 (i.e no g.inp and an interleave of 1/1) the line did a re-sync at 5am on the 20th and remained the same.

Had an email from BT's Exec Level Complaints to say an engineer will be coming out on Friday morning to hopefully get this banding removed.

Should I remove the HG612 and replace it with the HH5?

I would. I had a technician come and he just pointed at the HG612 and pronounced that was the problem.

Ok I will do, is there a procedure to follow so as to avoid upsetting the DLM when I move back from the HH5 to the HG612?

Turn it off, disconnect the phone RJ11, wait 30 mins, reconnect the phone RJ11, power it on.
