Hi Leonroy and welcome to the forums
Thanks for the images - noted is the BCM63381UK chipset.
In which case I would expect DSL performance to be akin to the
TD-W9970. The BCM63381 is designed for budget based modems (ie those with 10/100 & wireless N) rather than anything spectacular, but does seem to perform very well for the money.
Based on the fact that you are on a Huawei cabinet, if it was me I'd stick to a BCM based modem.
HG612's are well liked by many members of this community, bear in mind you would still need a router to use with it.
Because you are looking for a flat modem, perhaps one of the Billions ... or the ZyXEL SBG3300-N.
What is your budget?
The SBG3300 is a bit old hat now as it was one of the very first combined vdsl modems, but those who have had one are very pleased with them and I dont think Ive heard anyone say anything bad about them.
TBH it had always been the one that I wanted one myself, but at £170, it was just out of my price range. However I noticed the other day that ebuyer had them for sale at about £110. Dont know if there's anywhere else got them on sale haven't checked.
Vigor 130?
Hmmmm..
Despite Drayteks previous good reputation, unfortunately its not so good for a lot of their modem/routers when it comes to VDSL.
Perhaps someone else is best commenting, but from what Ive seen, far more have been disappointed with the various Vigors than Ive seen happy.
Some one else may offer some alternative suggestions.
