Vulnerability in DLink DSL-320B when configured as router
« on: September 04, 2016, 10:41:02 AM »

This router (which can also be configured to be just a PPPoE modem) has a critical security issue, see:
    http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=61123.0

This is a fairly old report, so apologies if possibly reposted, but it's worth knowing if you are unwise enough to have your device accessible on a LAN or god forbid from the Internet.

Note: this device should only ever be used when configured as a (PPPoE) modem, not as a modem-router combo, which is the default. Safely preconfigured devices are available from the Andrews & Arnold (AAISP) shop.
