World's Largest Model Railway
« on: October 13, 2015, 12:14:48 AM »

This is in Germany, and is incredible.

If you look at their YouTube account, they have a great deal of videos to watch about how it was built, and problems they encountered (current problems : how to make Mount Vesuvius erupt convincingly)

(If watching their older youtube videos, you can enable subtitles and select a language other than German, if that is best for you)

Even the little cars driving about, or the aeroplanes taxiing then flying off.. is all incredibly arranged.

Thank you for posting that link / video.

Somehow I don't think you will have enough room in your shed for your own version.  :D

I've got a wind-up train on plastic track, a Raspberry Pi Webcam and a drill.  The only way is up !

For some reason, the above phrase made me think of the following (which is best watched in high definition on a wide screen) --

I'm clearing my loft right now. I never had a toy train as a boy. :'(
