CRCs and line faults
« on: September 29, 2015, 10:24:49 AM »

Why do Openreach engineers seem to think that CRCs indicate a line fault?

You see Alec, you need to quantify your statements ............ that one-liner you've just written is just pure nonsense. How many posters on here, on different threads, have now said the same to you ???

I get you're an angry young man with regard to Openreach as a whole. But generalisations like this serve no purpose other than in a trolling sense.

I don't mind discussing (as far as I'm allowed to), Openreach and their perceived failings with you. But it has to be on an adult level, in other words via debate ..... not unfounded one-liners.
I'll be honest, to save myself further annoyance I think I'm better hitting the 'Hide your posts' button, but we'll see how it pans out for now ??

Probably because almost all errors are caused by line faults.

In my experience it's interference in the background that causes them.

Interference is often caused by a line fault.

Well I get hundreds of CRCs and my line is perfect (according to Openreach - which I think is crap but anyway), so idk.

Then you answer your own question with ............

'Well I get hundreds of CRCs and my line is perfect (according to Openreach - which I think is crap but anyway), so idk.'

Make your mind up if you're going to have another dig at Openreach and their engineers !!

This thread has been separated from the thread "Openreach charter".
