That's the source of the traffic information. The names on the left hand side are the various interfaces which are used by the system, and the one labelled pppoa0 is the one which reports the PPP traffic (see RX bytes and TX bytes near the end of that section). The text you quoted is the output of the command ifconfig which is sent to the modem as part of the sampling process.
