Bear 1 (G.INP) side of things has put an extra 3ms on your line and it's done the exact same thing to my short error free line too..

Bear 1 (G.INP) side of things has put an extra 3ms on your line and it's done the exact same thing to my short error free line too..

Bearer 0 has no delay. Bearer 1 is used by G.Inp

Yep G.INP has added delay of 3ms to your line for NO REASON AT ALL, yet I have seen long noisy lines with ZERO delay.

G.INP is NOT working well at all for short lines.

My short line stats are identical to yours and G.INP has added 3ms to my ping too..

Yeah I blamed Openreach for unfit for purpose for FTTC G.INP delay of 3ms on ping! No need for that for my short line! God, I hate BT sometime!

Only sometimes, that's an improvement on most people who hate BT all the time :-)

Whats more shocking is how CRAP the ECI modem is with G.INP enabled!

my line has been perfect for the last 3 years with FULL SYNC and fastpath.

Since this G.INP has been forced upon my line it's been much slower and higher latency

I have to say that I would find it rather hard to get worked up over a 3ms increase. In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal. Approaching 10ms increase, maybe it's worth caring about

That said, I seem to have got the best of both worlds, 6Mb increase and maybe 1 or 2ms decrease..

Interesting BQM graph showing reduced in ping just after 11am this morning. (I notice between 12:30pm yesterday and before 11am today the ping was higher by 3ms extra. Graph below:

Speed test also reduced from 12ms to 9ms
