@konrado5 and morphium:

I've looked into why the bitloading and SNR per tone are always enabled after a restart of DSLstats. The reason is that you have these items enabled in the MyDSLWebStats options. Enabling these items in MDWS automatically enables them in "Items to monitor". If they are not enabled in MDWS, then the "Items to monitor" options work as expected.

I can probably handle this a bit better, and when I have some time I'll look at it.

@roseway:
Thank you very much. Disabling bitloading and SNR per tone in MyDSLWebStats is helpful. But I've had to disable "Include with bit-loading" in SNR category to disable SNR per tone monitoring. It is additional bug.

Best regards

I think I found one bug too. The font used to display the current date in graphs has trouble with accented characters like "é", causing in-graph dates to appear as "18 d?c.2014". I live in France and windows' set to use french.

DSLstats is showing me to have had a resync ->

Uptime:                    13 days 5 hours 28 min 13 sec
Resyncs:                   1 (since 17 Dec 2014 17:25:48)

yet i have no info of this and HG612 modem stats viewer is correct.

Had a look back to-day at 17:25 and the only thing that changed was my IP address on the router so DSLstats must automatically think this is a resync  :-\

17 Dec 2014 17:25:45   Configuration files stored in C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\dslstats\
17 Dec 2014 17:25:45   Snapshot folder is C:\Users\*****\Documents\dslatats graphs\
17 Dec 2014 17:25:45   Average errors saved as 'errors15.txt' in snapshot directory
17 Dec 2014 17:25:45   Average error data reset
17 Dec 2014 17:25:48   Recording started

17 Dec 2014 17:25:56   IP address is now ***.***.***.185
17 Dec 2014 19:25:53   Auto snapshots taken
17 Dec 2014 21:26:53   Auto snapshots taken
17 Dec 2014 23:27:52   Auto snapshots taken

@NewtronStar: I thought I'd got this right with the last changes, but obviously not. I'll take another look.

Just an idea.  :hmm:

I found some old stats from 2.2014 but I can not remember which modem/router I was using, I looked on some of the stats but could not see any reference to modem etc.

Is it possible to put that say on the Event Log header ?.

That's a good idea. I don't know of any straightforward way to get the actual model which is in use, but I can record the model which is configured in the login setup.

It seems to think a resync has occured when you execute DSLstats, the RPi version is showing a resync: since 11 Dec 2014 02:33:15 thats the time I executed V5.3 on the raspberry pi

See my other post in the ADSL , DG634GT etc.
Not sure if it's a problem but Looks like FEC errors are not being recorded unless they are 0 all day  :hmm:

I've had a look at this, and I can't reproduce the problem. On my WinXP test machine, accented characters are displayed correctly in the DSLstats graphs.

The graphs use the host system's default font and character set. I could use a specific character set, but that might lead to display issues for some other users. I'll see if it's practical to provide a user choice of font and character set.
