Hi I was hoping someone could offer a suggestion to fix this issue.
I have a HG612 modem so I flashed it with the August 2014 WebGUI firmware. I set it up by disconnecting from my router and flashing it via this. All went fine
I went and logged into the router and changed the login gateway to 192.168.1.253.
I then set my Asus AC56u router to only allow IPs of less than 192.168.1.252. I connected the modem to my LAN port 2 on my asus router.
But now when I go to 192.168.1.253 on my browser it brings up a page with a load of javascript on saying

The Javascript is a lot more. But you get the picture from this. Its definitely the correct IP I am using as if I put something else than 192.168.1.253 I get nothing come up at all. But putting in this I get the above javascript each and every time.
I have tried turning off my router for 30 mins to see if that fixes it but it didn't.
It does seem to be the router that maybe is causing it as if I connect direct to the PC as per the flashing guidance and thus no other connection to the router and the modem then I see the web gui for the modem.
Any ideas?
