Hi Guys.
That is what I was quoting as BTWholesale checker Full address and post code go to Cab 41 but a rogue address has cab 74 which was quoted to me from BTOpeanreach. So some how Duff information on the database. May be Blacksheep has come across Cab 74 on his travels, so I can see how far away it is.
Anyway I sit next to my flickering candle with my night cap and dressing gown on reading Christmas Carol and wish for better things next year! ;)

O.k., so full address and post code indicates P41.

What does this indicate when you enter your telephone number? If it also indicates P41 then we can be fairly sure there is a database "mishap".

So there is a significant discrepancy between the two databases. Usually, in cases such as this, it turns out that the information obtained via inputting the telephone number is correct and the information obtained via the address/postcode is wrong. Which is not what you will like to know.  :(

All we can now do is just wait . . . to see what Mr Sheep can discover from some definitive records.  :-\

Too true especially as Cab41 is about 150 yards from my door and between myself and the exchange.   ??? It is also the cab the engineers go to to fix my phone faults! But hey what do they know!!  ;)

Well, to a grumpy old kitteh, that reads as something quite positive -- as long as they were Openreach employees and not contractors from Kelly Communications or M J Quinn:)

Ah but does that mean anything? Ex-Beattie items can be legitimately purchased and I have suggested, more than once, that Walter could really do with a second-hand Openreach van in place of his trusty wheel-barrow!

;D ;D   I'd have to lose some podge to get into that.  ;D I do actually have one of those, I was told by the manager who gave it to me they are a limited edition, and may be worth something in years to come ?? I looked down to see if I had bells on my legs.

Dwight now has the info he needed, and to save confusion for any other members looking into it on his behalf, there are two Exchanges feeding his locality. Unless the correct one is input it will give a different address for the PCP's mentioned.  :)

Well with the help of BS I now think I know what has gone wrong! :(
Looks like my Cab number wasn't updated when I moved house. So I will be chasing that tomorrow.
Then hopefully we will be rocking!  :)

Ah . . . I think I understand what has happened. When you moved to your new address, you arranged to take the existing telephone number with you?

Hence after your relocation the number was correctly associated with a different physical metallic pathway but the (telephone number) database was not updated. That would account for the two different PCP numbers . . .  :)
