My retired neighbour, as a result of the property legacy of a small business he used to run, has a couple of flats he rents out.
One has recently been vacated (tenants returned abroad) and is being refurbished.
They left behind a collection of BT kit, all stored in a drawer and complete with all PSU's and cables:
Homehub 2 type A and matching hub phone type 2.1A.
ECI B-Focus V-2FUb/r rev.B (fibre VDSL modem presumably)
Homehub 3
BT Youview unit DTR-T1000/GB/500G/BT
He doesn't want any of this, is it likely to be of any use to me on a PlusNet ADSL2+ connection running at about 20mbps?
PS I know what Youview is, indeed I have an old/original (free) Youview box as I was one of the original triallists.
But is the BT box any use other than with a BT FTTC connection?
