Hi and welcome

The new figures are so bad that something must have changed dramatically. Have you changed anything at home, such as connecting the router to a different socket, changing filters or anything like that?

Does the phone still work? One thing which can cause this sort of collapse in performance is when one of the telephone wires becomes disconnected. The phone stops working altogether, but some sort of ADSL signal can still be obtained.

If these things are eliminated, then you need to connect the router to the test socket, to make sure that your internal wiring isn't causing the problem. If possible, try a different router and different filters to eliminate those things as the cause.

It's difficult to tell, but if TT are running tests that should hopefully reveal the problem. Did you check that the phone is working?

That's almost certainly a line fault then (a bad high resistance fault which is nearly a disconnection) and it should be easy to diagnose.

 Hi Voo
I am surprised that the TT test Enginner had not rang you back on you fault report because he/she would have requested you to Speek to him from you Master Socket ( speed point) this would have speeded up your clear time.
I hope you have the reference fault number so you can claim out of service ££ time from the ISP ,if there is a long delay on clearing the problem.
Please remember the ISP is responsible for your service and should keep you informed on the clear time.
Regards.  Phil

Hi Voo
Has your service been restored yet if not have they contacted you stating the reasons.
If by 1200 hours today recheck the complaint on the reference number.
Regards.  Phil
