With all of the hec errors in that time does your connection not cause DLM to raise the noise margin? As when I have similar values at 6.0db noise margin, after a day DLM will kick in and raise the noise margin? Although your error second count is quite a lot more

Ah, now that is a good question.  :)  And the answer is that I do not have any DLM process enabled!  ;)

I am with TalkTalk and have a target SNRM of 6 dB, with no DLM  configured.

Yes, my TalkTalk supplied service uses MPF (i.e. is LLU) and they thus configure their own equipment (the MSAN).

TT have their own DLM system, but if you ask nicely on their members' forum they're prepared to turn it off for you. I've done the same as Mr Cat, and it does relieve all that stress that DLM can cause.

with the updated version of dslstats, the hlog, looks even worse , but the first qln graph was when i rebooted last night at 5:00pm, and the second graph was at 12:40pm. bt have said that there is nothing wrong with the line, as the remote tests haven't failed. >:(

the upstream snr has now dropped to 8.0db, as you can see by the spikes on the graph
