Flashed DG934G, now bricked?
« on: July 04, 2013, 12:44:41 PM »

Hi,

I recently joined BT and due to some misunderstanding when I signed up my hub won't be delivered until next week. I have an old Sky DG934G which this morning I attempted to flash with a genetic netgear firmware as per the tutorial on here. Everything went fine until right at the end when the 'upgrade complete' message was displayed. I went to check the router and the power light, check light and all 4 ethernet port lights are flashing quickly. I've tried the reset button for upwards of 60 seconds, and the thing just refuses to do anything except flash all the lights.

I presume it's dead, given the lack of response from the reset button?

If you can't get the router to go into firmware upgrade mode any more, then I guess that it's bricked. I presume that you've tried pressing the reset button while powering on the router?

Yeah I've tried that, and just get the 6 constantly flashing lights.
