DG834PN Disable Web Interface Command
« on: November 27, 2012, 02:27:16 PM »

Anyone aware of how to disable/enable to web interface via command on a DT834PN?

You see if I disable the remote function and leave the web interface live it still accepts connections remotely and poses a security issue.

I’ve managed to get round this by blocking port 80 inbound but is there a command for removing the rule instead of the web interface?

Im not sure if disabling the web interface is the way forward.  AFIAK it cant just be disabled but it would need to be removed from the router firmware.

If it can be accessed remotely then its more of a security aspect.   Blocking relevant ports and strong password.  Also check port 8080.
