I suppose that it doesnt help that half the buffoons have a foggiest about adsl implementation.  There were a few of us who despite wanting it to come true foresaw that actually meeting the target in some areas could be extremely difficult.  Fibre is obviously the way to go, but with the HUGE cost of laying it, I still dont know where all the funding will come from.
