I am trying a Netgear DG834GT Router with DGTeam Firmware version 1018, ADSL driver 023o.  I would like the router to log loss of sync, and acquiring sync, but it only seems to do this once.  If I lose sync, nothing seems to go in the router's log.
 
Is this normal, or a known issue?  If so, are other versions known to be able to do it?  Apart from that I like the DG834GT, and I am getting good sync speeds, but would like to know when resyncs occur whilst I am tweaking target SNR slightly.  I know I could use RouterStats, but other routers I have used have logs sync loss and resync on their own.

Any comments anyone?

hmm....don't use 834s myself, but I'm sure one of the netgearheads on here will be able to answer that
