BAR MITZVAH BOY by Jack Rosenthal, adapted from the TV play by his daughter  ....    I've just listened to this ...wonderfully acted !   Enjoy !    (6 days left to listen)

I seem to remember the late 1980's,1990's TV series London's Burning was written by him and amongst many of the things he did was to write Coronation Street scripts from 1961-9

He was also Married to Maureen Lipman

I didn't know he'd done London's Burning Unc  ...  not something I ever saw, but was aware of the other things.  I love Maureen Lipman  - very funny lady and excellent actress  :)

I think Eric likes the Radio plays, and this is worth a listen.

Yes, thanks Kate. I never seem to have enough time to listen to R4 plays when they're transmitted, but I could pick them up afterwards, and I'll make a point of listening to this one. :)
