Does anybody know where I can get one of these routers or if anybody is selling one cheaply?

2640B's are available for £20 refurbed with 3(I think) month warranty on ebay...just checked, they've got one left after selling 143 !!

2740B's going for £32-ish

I'm a 2640B fan myself, got 3 of them as they suit my line :) Did have 4 'till recently when I sold one to a mate to replace his carpy livebox :D

If you get a 2640B and want to use DMT to tweak snrm (you can't do it with Routerstats, and the line monitoring graphs are just as good anyway in DMT), you'll want v8.07 for D-Link fw 3.06. If you have fw v4.01 you'll need the tweaked version of 8.07. If you can't find it on the net any more, let me know as I've got it :D

2740B works (all fw variants work if I remember correctly) with DMT v8.07

Just make sure you get a B, not the carpy R models (with the wrong chipset and fw in them)
