Welcome home Chas - I hope you are appreciating how much worry you caused. Next time, fill in a chitty before you go off on leave. (Can he read?)

Yep I honestly think he must have been shut in somewhere for a week.
He's normally a vocal cat, but his "voice" is a bit hoarse so I think hes been crying a bit to be let out.

He's certainly not been outside - being a long haired like he is he wouldnt have come back in the condition he did if hed been outside and not groomed for over a week.   He can get matted/tangled badly within a couple of days sometimes :/

He's still eating like mad, and Im still being the soft touch and feeding him when ever hes asking.
Ive gone through nearly a full box of sachets in the past 24 hours and that doesnt include the prawns and the chicken.

Thanks for the colour correction tuftedduck thats much better - saved :)
The "original" was a quick snap taken when he first came in and without flash

>> wot did i tell u yesterday kitz

You damn well did..  what you'd said crossed my mind yesterday after he came home.
Must buy a lottery ticket this week :D

No - hes as blind as a bat sometimes - drop a piece of chicken at his feet and he has to use his nose to find it.  :D

gawd too true - its like having a young child and having to spell out words sometimes -
Theres certain words you just cant say out loud in this house - chicken being one of them.

I think its the "ch" sound though because  "icken" is ok
"cheese" is not (yeah he loves cheese and will sit up and beg for it)
