How to use Dazzle Platinum capture card to record PC gameplay?

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone could help me out.

I've just bought a Dazzle Platinum and was wondering if it was possible to use it for recording PC gameplay? This would be incredibly useful for me as since installing Windows 7, I can no longer get fraps to record without completely screwing up the FPS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
