I'm trying to help my neighbour turn off the Windows Live Messenger Log On screen on the administrators setting .
It does not show in 'Start Up'
In add/remove Programs ,I have removed Windows Live Messenger .

Any idea's please.

Also how do you change the default programs or delete them ?>

1 ..  Using 'services.msc' in the 'Run' command box then find 'Windows Live Messenger' Right click and choose to 'disable' it.

2.. In 'Programs'  find 'Windows Live Messenger Log in assistant' Right click the uninstall 'Messenger'

That should stop that annoying pop up message box on log on  >:D.
