ADSL24 now offering LLU
« on: May 09, 2009, 07:27:18 PM »

Hi,

ADSL24 recently announced they will be offering LLU from a "wholesale broadband provider".
https://adsl24.co.uk/broadband/llu/

The price and performance seem interesting compared with their existing packages.
Especially, quote: "Unlimited usage 24/7/365 (no peak/off-peak, throttling or ALT)"

Who'll be the first to report here their experience?

Cheers,

Peter

Certainly looks like it - although the pricing is more expensive than going with Be direct.

Theres a few other Enta resellers offering LLU Vivacitti, TitanADSL & Aquiss IIRC

I think most use C&W or another Provider that escapes me.

Entanet have had a few outages lately with folks getting no internet for upto a day & some have had enough & moved away. Their ISP/resellers have been seeking alternative suppliers to offer services.

Entanet along with other ISPs have an issue with some lines that have moved to BT 21CN WBC, this is causing some upset...to say the least.

Evening,

We have been advised, via 3 different sources, that there is a known BT 21CN WBC platform issue that is locking lines by mistake to a 2Mbps profile. This appears to only happen where the exchange MSAN equipment being used is Huawei based.

BT have a national trouble ticket open at the moment to resolve this problem, which is causing problems for thousands of lines, not just those at Entanet.
