Windows 7 installation

Hey all,
           I tried to install windows 7 this morning from a disk a friend of mine downloaded from a while back and i was wandering has anyone else got a strange error during the installation which forces you to quit ? i mean it was installing nicely then BANG! it says something about corrupted or missing files :( anyone know how to fix this ?

1. Sounds like the disc is faulty or it did not burn properly.
2. Ask your friend for another copy (sorry I meant to say ask M$)

I managed to sort it out i used dvddecrypter to rip the cd to my hard drive and save it as a bootable .iso file and then mounted that in daemon tools and now windows 7 isn't looking too bad i am yet to see if games work but they should anyway :)

It will expire quite soon if, as is likely, it's the Beta.
The Release Candidate came out yesterday and is available for public download.
It will run for over a year so get that in preference.
