Back Up.
« on: January 21, 2009, 01:37:03 PM »

Doing a manual (not set up to run automatically) back up, I'm getting a lot of data to store (old backups).
I use the PCLinux control center to set up the back up,
What's the best settings to use.
Also can I set it up again, do a backup and get rid of all that G bits of data.?

I don't know what features the PCLOS control centre has so I'm not sure I can help much. Presumably you can just manually delete some of the old backups. My own approach is that I only back up personal files, basically the contents of my home directory, and I keep about five copies and each time I do a backup I delete the oldest one.
