Japan's Sony Corp has launched a voluntary recall of 438,000 Vaio portable computers, citing a potential hazard that could cause the machines to overheat or possibly burn a user.

72,000 are in the USA but the rest must be all around the world.

I have not found any details yet about which, if any, UK models are affected, nor what the owners should do with their laptop. Will keep you uptodate.
