Fibre optic UK ISP Hyperoptic has entered into a partnership with new build property developer Bellway South London (BSL), which will see their Gigabit capable hyperfast broadband (FTTP/B) network being made available from day one at their new development sites in the city.

At present the provider has already deployed their urban FTTP and FTTB network into many parts of the United Kingdom (400,000 premises), including a big chunk of London, and they’re aiming to reach 500,000 premises by 2019, followed by 2 million in 2022 and there’s also an aspiration for 5 million by 2025.

The operator’s typical approach focuses upon connecting their fibre optic based network to large residential or office buildings in dense urban areas (e.g. Multi-Dwelling Units with at least 50 units), although they have recently expanded to do a few new build housing estates and council (social) homes.
